Warminster Running Club was founded in September 1983 by a group of likeminded people who felt that there was a demand for an organised body to represent the needs of runners in the Warminster area. Our membership comes primarily from the Warminster, Westbury, Bratton and Chitterne areas. We meet at 7.15pm every Wednesday night come rain or shine inside The Warminster Cricket Pavilion on Sambourne Road, all standards are welcome.

There are shower and changing facilities in the clubhouse and after a training session we all meet up in the bar for a well-earned drink and to catch up on the gossip. We organise the occasional social event and every now and then meet up with the Dorset based Gillingham Trotters for a run/social event. Many of our members are in training for one event or another and every year we have a few enter the London Marathon. Each weekend you will always find small groups of the club getting together for a run on a Saturday or a Sunday.
